IATA in its 2017 report projected that Air Travel would grow by leaps and bounds over the next two decades. IATA expects 7.8 Billion passengers to travel in 2036, almost twice as much as the number of travelers in 2017. The biggest driver for this demand will be the Asia-Pacific region which is expected to contribute more than half of the new passengers worldwide over the next two decades.
